Trash and Recycling

There is NO curbside pick up of garbage within Big Bass Lake Community.

Guests are responsible for disposing of ALL trash and recycling at bins located on Fox Farm Road just outside of the Larsen guard gate. When you pull in, there is a red trash compactor on the right side, a cardboard recycling bin in the center and a blue recycling bin on the left.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Trash:

Kitchen sized trash bags are located under the kitchen sink.  Larger trash bags are located in the kitchen pantry.  Trash can NEVER be left outside the home.  It will attract local wildlife, including bears, raccoons and possums.  You may store trash in the garage until you are able to bring it to the Big Bass Facility trash bins. Any trash left in the home at check out will result in fines.

Recycling: Aluminum, tin, glass, cardboard

NO PLASTIC BAGS are allowed in the recycling dumpster.  If hauling recycling in plastic bags or trash bags, please empty the contents into the blue dumpster and place the empty plastic/trash bags in the regular trash dumpster.

The slot for the cardboard is narrow so all cardboard boxes will need to be flattened or broken down.  ​
